The shearing process at Leading Edge Mfg., is performed using our AMADA M-3060. It is a 1/4" thick x 10' length capacity mechanical power shear. The front operated power back gauge is equipped  with a programmable controller which provides the operator with the ability to shear material accurately and efficiently.

Shearing is an integral part of a variety of metal fabricating processes. It uses very sharp blades to cut sheet material, rather than burning the material like in some other applications. During the shearing process larger sheets of steel, stainless and aluminum will be cut down to specific sizes in both the width and in length..

 

Our experience and attention to detail will ensure you that your specification are met every time. Leading Edge Mfg. sheared parts will meet +/- 0.015" part tolerances.
