WHAT IS AN EQUIPMENT SKID?

An equipment skid can be used for a wide range of things. It is basically a flat metal pallet used for housing and transporting a variety of elements, particularly machinery and related equipment. These skids must be built durable and in order to withstand heavy loads and must be able to maintain themselves while being transported. It is also of utmost importance that skids be built to survive in the harsh environments and extreme conditions that they are most often used in, especially if that environment is that of an offshore platform.

For the design process, we use CAD/CAM design software along with our highly experienced draftsmen to work with you to ensure that your skid is designed to meet your needs. With years of experience, our fabricator use MIG and TIG welding to ensure quality welds that will withstand time. Our facility is equipped with a full line of fabrication equipment to ensure that all of your metalworking needs are met. Because we know quality is of the utmost important to you, it is of our top priority. Our in house quality control department is here to make sure that the final product of your skid meets the requirements that you specified during the process.

Along with our in house fabrication, we work with outside companies if your skid requires powder coating or a wet paint finish to ensure that all of your needs are met with little effort from you.
